Tryin’ to Get Where I’m Goin’

A new album by Ben Jones & Laurence Hobgood

Concept

Jazz pianist, composer, arranger, producer, Yamaha® artist and Grammy® Award winner Laurence Hobgood and award-winning actor, singer, comedian and storyteller Ben Jones have been touring with a show that seamlessly weaves beloved songs with improvised transitions into an uninterrupted journey.

This album will preserve that experience—the deep storytelling, the spontaneity, and the reinvention of classics that make each performance unforgettable.

This is an album that won’t just be heard—it will be felt.
